Culinary & Cultural Adventure

Come join us for the ultimate cultural experience en español as we take a cultural and food stroll around Jackson Heights in Queens. We’ll start our food and cultural adventure at the 74th train station. Then, we’ll stop at a local food place in Jackson Heights to have a cup of delicious Indian tea. After our cup of tea, we’ll go to Jackson Heights Greenmarket and have authentic Mexican food. Our next stop will be a Colombian restaurant where we’ll try some delicious arepas, chicharrón and coffee. Our culinary adventure will continue along Roosevelt Avenue where will have some Ecuadorian food. Later will head to an Uruguayan place to have a taste of Uruguayan food. We’ll speak Spanish at all times. This is a unique opportunity to practice the language and experience a full cultural immersion in one of the most diverse neighborhoods in New York city Space is limited, RSVP now!

Where: Jackson Hts – Roosevelt Av Station – 75th Street and Roosevelt Avenue · New York, NY. Meeting place: Take the 7, E, F, M, R lines from Manhattan and get off at Jackson Hts – Roosevelt Av Station. We’ll meet at the corner of 75th Street and Roosevelt Avenue, next to the Chase bank.
