Guided Tour at the MET: Great Spanish Painters + Mexican Brunch
March 25 @ 10:30 AM - 12:30 PM EDT$36.00
Join our exclusive art tour in Spanish and learn about the great masters of the Spanish Golden Age; a period during the early 16th century to the late 17th century which saw Spain’s flourishing in arts and literature.
We’ll explore some of the best known artists of this era Diego Velazquez, Zurbaran and Murillo. We’ll also explore the works of Francisco De Goya, the most important Spanish artist of late 18th and early 19th centuries, and often considered as both the last of the Old Masters and the first of the moderns.
This is a wonderful opportunity to learn about art, meet amazing people and practice Spanish. After the tour visit, the group will go to a local Mexican restaurant on 86th Street. Space is limited, RSVP now!
