Eat Up Your Spanish: Culinary and Cultural Excursion (Part 2)

$38.00Let’s go on a fun culinary and cultural aventura through Queens!
We’ll start our excursion having some delicious empanadas at Buenos Aires Bakery at Elmhurst Ave and from there we’ll stroll along sampling dishes from many countries from Latin America, like empanadas from Argentina, ceviche from Ecuador and Peru and tostadas from México. Vegetarians are welcome!
During the food crawl, we’ll also discuss interesting Latin American culinary traditions and cultural traits, all en español, of course. This is a unique opportunity to practice the language and experience a full cultural immersion in one of the most diverse neighborhoods in New York City.
Where to meet: Meet the group outside of Buenos Aires Bakery at the corner of Elmhurst Ave. and Roosevelt Avenue.
How to get there: Take the E, F, M, R lines from Manhattan and transfer to the # 7 train at Jackson Hts-Roosevelt Avenue Station. Take the #7 train and get off at 90th Street Station.
Spanish level: All levels are welcome!
