This captivating exhibition explores how the Umayyad family in Cordoba, Spain, transformed the Iberian Peninsula into a bustling hub for scholars, artists, and diplomats from Baghdad to Byzantium. During this in-person tour we’ll travel back through space and time to Spain’s Madinat al-Zahraand and discuss the significant cultural accomplishments carried out by the Umayyads during the early Medieval world.
