Come with us on an exciting art adventure en español from the comfort of your own home!
During this month’s tour, we’ll turn our attention to ‘La verbena’ (The Street Fair), a painting by Maruja Mallo, a female artist from Spain.
This painting is one of a four-part series of oil paintings exhibited in 1928 that was dedicated to capturing the chaotic, surreal, and often subversive atmosphere of Madrid’s open-air festivals.
Join us to discuss this interesting painting, analyze its social and historical background and have fun practicing your español with amigos.
