DESCRIPTION:Let’s celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month with a fascinating Spanish guided tour to ancient Peru! \nOn this special tour\, we’ll explore the MET’s impressive art collection to learn more the Incas\, Moches and Nazcas. Long before the arrival of the Spanish conquistadores\, these ancient Peruvian civilizations have accomplished great and sophisticated feats\, including building over 15 thousand miles of roads connecting the jungle and the Andes; erecting cities on mountains tops and developing an amazing sense of aesthetics\, mathematics and the divine that Westerners can’t still decipher. \nAfter the tour\, we’ll continue our discussion while we have lunch at a nearby Mexican restaurant. \nThis is a wonderful opportunity to learn about art\, history\, religion\, to meet amazing people and to practice Spanish.
