Julio Jaramillo was a singer and songwriter from Guayaquil, Ecuador, popularly known as “El ruiseñor de América” (the Nightingale of America) because of his beautiful and unique voice.
Considered one of Ecuador’s most important and beloved artists, Julio Jaramillo explored different musical styles such as boleros, waltzes, pasillos, tangos, and rancheras, recording over 5000 songs during his prolific career.
