Patagonia is a region at the southern end of South America, shared by Argentina and Chile. Known for its natural beauties, Patagonia offers a variety of landscapes such as mountain ranges, lakes, natural parks, glaciers, desserts and rocky beaches which attract tourists from all over the world.
Although now this territory is scarcely populated, Patagonia used to be home for various indigenous tribes before the arrival of the Spanish conquistadors.
