Pedro Junco was a Cuban poet and composer who wrote one of the most heart-breaking and popular boleros: “Nosotros”.
“Nosotros” tells the tragic tale of star-crossed lovers which reflects Junco’s real-life doomed love. Released in 1943, this sorrowful bolero quickly rose to popularity and it has been covered by renowned artists like Luis Miguel, Plácido Domingo, Eydie Gormé & Los Panchos, and Sara Montiel.
