Buñuel is one of the most renowned, innovative, enigmatic and mysterious Spanish filmmakers. His films are often impossible to classify due to their variety and originality, but it’s his masterpieces that are particularly unsettling, disturbing, provoking, sarcastic, and dream-like.
During this course, we’ll take a closer look at Buñuel’s genius, study the most relevant aspects of his filmography, enjoy his best films, and we’ll attempt to solve his mysteries and reveal –if possible- his enigmas. In other words, we’ll have lots of interesting discussions about Buñuel and his best films.
