In the 90s, a strange beast started attacking farm animals, particularly goats (cabras), in Puerto Rico. This creature sucked the blood out of its victims, earning the quite literal name of ‘chupa cabras’ (goat sucker).

The appearances started many speculations. Some claim it was a wild beast the size of the bear with sharp spikes, big fangs and a long tongue; some that it had fins and wings, and others that it was nothing more than mangy coyotes. The story has never been dispelled.
