This month we’ll dive into the colorful world of La Verbena (The Fair) by surrealist Spanish painter Maruja Mallo. Together, we’ll take a closer look at the skillful way Mallo represents all the elements of the traditional Madrid fair while also learning about its social and historical background.
This is a fantastic opportunity to improve your Spanish speaking and listening skills, critical thinking and art appreciation abilities in a friendly setting.
The talk will be in Spanish with English for clarification only.
