Virtual Art Visit in Spanish: Queen Isabella the Catholic dictating her Will
Let’s commemorate the meeting of the Old and the New World with a closer look at the role of la Reina Isabel la Católica.
Together we’ll discuss the painting Queen Isabella the Catholic dictating her Will by Spanish master Eduardo Rosales Gallinas, currently located at the Prado Museum.
While we analyze the rich details of this 19th-century masterpiece, we’ll also debate her the pivotal role in the unification of Spain, her support for exploration and cultural patronage and how Isabella’s reign transformed the course of European and world history.
This is a perfect opportunity to pick up new vocabulary to talk about art and history in a relaxed group setting.
The talk will be in Spanish with English for clarification only.
