We have the perfect sábado planned and you’re invited! Come along to Queens with us as we explore this diverse neighborhood en español and make a very special stop at the House Museum & Center of American icon Louis Armstrong in Corona.
First, the group will meet up at Corona Plaza and from there our tour leader, Jorge Gallegos, will guide us through this densely Hispanic populated neighborhood as we sightsee and try delicious local foods.
Then, we’ll make our way to the Louis Armstrong House Museum and Center. The official tour at the house/museum will start at 12:30 pm on the dot. This part of the tour will be in English and we’ll learn more about the record-breaking career and long-lasting legacy of one of the founding fathers of jazz.
