Let’s Go on a Spanish Walking Tour: Washington Heights

Grab your walking shoes and join us for a new aventura full of American history, Hispanic culture, and español!
The walking tour will will start at the Church of the Intersession and from there will briefly visit Trinity Cemetery. After our initial visit, the group will extensively explore the Hispanic Society and talk about its marvelous collection of paintings, photographs, rare books and maps. Then, we’ll head to Jumel Terrace Historic District, stop at Fort Washington, visit the place where Malcolm X was assassinated and explore other interesting places in the area. The tour will officially end at 175th and Broadway.
Afterwards, the group will go to an authentic Dominican restaurant for food and drinks.
This event is perfect for anyone interested in art, culture, and in practicing their Spanish conversation skills while hanging out with friendly like-minded folks.
