Movie titles can make or break a movie, particularly when discussing movie titles that have been translated into Spanish.
It may sound easy, but conveying a title into another language it’s not always a matter of simply translating words; we have to take into account cultural factors, word plays and language varieties to help Spanish-speaking audiences connect with the film.
However, more often than not, the resulting titles are confusing, ridiculous or just plain spoilery!
