Description
This is the perfect Spanish conversation course that uses literature as a springboard to stimulate engaging discussions in Spanish. At the same time, students will enjoy and learn about the most fascinating and universal novel in the Spanish language, also considered the first modern novel.
The main goal of this course is to offer a provocative yet friendly language ambience to develop fluency through meaningful conversations as well as encouraging students to read El Quijote and teach them how to approach this complex novel easily. Most important of all, students will discuss and analyze the universal values this early 17th-century novel has to teach us, 21st-century readers.
During the course, participants will learn more about its author, Miguel de Cervantes; will discover what makes this novel so exceptional, and -best of all- students will journey through Don Quijote’s most important adventures, decipher its clues, and share its lessons.
